IS Tester

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a IS Tester to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Define test cases.
• Execute tests.
• Build test scenarios and scripts based on business analysis.
• Prepare test data.
• Be involved in the test’s coordination and execution.
• Create issues related to the execution of the tests.
• Report test results.
• Contribute to user support Level 2.
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor's Degree + 13+ years' of experience / Master's degree + 9+ years' of experience in IT.
• 2+ years' of professional experience with Jira and Zephyr (test management), preparing and executing functional test cases, preparing test plans.
• Skilled in Agile Software Development methodology.
• Extensive experience in translating Business Use Cases into Test cases.
• Background in level 2 user support activities.
• Experience with Automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Proficient with Javascript programming language.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of RDMS and SQL is an asset.
• Good command of an Object-Oriented programming language (e.g. Java, Python) is an asset.
• Proficiency in English language at a C1 level or higher.
• Competence in French language is considered an advantage.
