About The Role:
- As People Operations Specialist at Enfuce, you’ll take ownership of people operations across Europe, ensuring our people processes are smooth, compliant, and scalable. While your scope is pan-European, you’ll be our in-house expert in Germany, supporting the team with German labor law, compliance, and local processes.
- You’ll be the first point of contact for employees and managers on people operations and employee lifecycle questions, making sure information is clear, accessible, and consistent. You’ll also oversee our knowledge management: keeping resources (including the employee website) up to date, spotting gaps, and identifying opportunities for automation.
- This role is perfect for a hands-on doer who thrives on autonomy, enjoys managing a wide variety of HR tasks, and wants to make a direct impact as part of a collaborative European People team.
What You'Ll Be Doing:
- Manage the employee lifecycle end-to-end: onboarding, contracts, changes, payroll inputs, benefits, and offboarding.
- Provide direct support for complex queries, ensuring clear guidance and consistent employee experience.
- Identify improvement opportunities, feeding recurring questions back into self-service resources and highlighting where automation can add value.
- Act as the go-to person for Germany, supporting compliance, vendor coordination, and process alignment.
- Ensure compliance with German labor law, while supporting the People and Legal teams with requirements in other countries.
- Administer and optimize people systems and data (HRIS, time management, benefits, absence tracking) across countries.
- Oversee payroll administration across multiple European countries in partnership with a People team member and external vendors.
- Take ownership of operational tasks that enable the wider People team to focus on strategic projects.
- Suggest and drive process improvements that enhance people operations, knowledge sharing, and employee experience.
- 5+ years of experience in people operations or a similar role, ideally with multi-country exposure.
- Proven ability to manage people operations with independence in a startup/scaleup or fast-paced environment.
- You are someone who thrives and genuinely loves people operations.
- Written and verbal proficiency in German and English (additional European languages a plus).
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to proactively balance diverse operational tasks while bringing forward solutions to challenges.
- You are highly adept at navigating digital systems and take ownership of optimizing digital or automated ways of working.
- You have a strong affinity with people data and processes, experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
- An approachable, solution-oriented mindset that makes you a reliable point of contact for employees, while staying firmly focused on operations rather than strategic business partnering
- You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where collaboration is integral to daily operations.
- You are solutions-oriented and remain composed, even when handling urgent, ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders.
