We are seeking highly skilled Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to join the Central Data Platforms team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions, working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, analytical, and comfortable wearing multiple hats—acting as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Project/Program Manager when needed.

This opportunity offers exposure to cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations, while contributing to critical enterprise-wide data programs that directly impact products and services delivered to customers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management: Partner with business teams and product managers to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
• Business Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify data sources, design data models, and create source-to-target mappings.
• Documentation: Develop clear and concise BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications.
• Data & Workflow Mapping: Create data flow diagrams (L0, L1), workflow diagrams (As-Is and To-Be), and other process documentation.
• Project/Program Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and coordinate across teams for smooth execution; lead end-to-end delivery when required.
• Agile Practices: Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, releases) and apply Agile principles for project management.
• JIRA & Confluence: Manage requirements, tasks, and sprint progress in JIRA; maintain documentation in Confluence.

Technical Responsibilities

• Big Data Concepts: Strong understanding of large-scale data processing, distributed storage, and analytics platforms.
• Data Pipelines: Document and optimize pipelines for efficient and scalable data processing.
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with Data Analysts to interpret datasets and generate actionable business insights.
• Data-First Architecture (Nice-to-Have): Understanding of data-first architecture and data-intensive application design.
• AWS & API Integrations (Nice-to-Have): Familiarity with AWS data services and API-based system integrations.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech (MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred).

Experience

• Business Analyst: 3–6 years in business/data analysis or related domains.
• Senior Business Analyst: 6+ years with demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading business analysis.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
• Proficiency in data flow/workflow diagrams and documentation (BRD, FRD, FSD).
• Knowledge of data platforms, data-first architecture, and cloud-based data solutions (AWS preferred).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Versatility to seamlessly transition between BA, DA, and Program Management responsibilities.
