The Polysomnographic Technologists supports the practice of Sleep Medicine at Mayo by performing diagnostic studies, therapeutic trials, patient education, and such other tasks that are necessary for efficient delivery of quality health care to Mayo patients. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
* Associate of Applied Science degree or a related field required (equivalent in Clinical Neurophysiology or Respiratory Care with preference for the former.)
* Experience in sleep or respiratory care required.
* Must have certification for Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT)
Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Competency.
CRT or RRT if applicable
