About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our global technology foundation. You will play a key role in scaling our infrastructure as Secomea grows from scale-up to enterprise, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across our cloud and on-prem environments.

The role combines hands-on engineering with the opportunity to shape standards, best practices, and automation across the company. You will work closely with our Platform Engineers, Specialist, and Operations teams, and collaborate with Internal IT where needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and improve Secomea’s hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem).
• Ensure uptime, performance, and operational stability across hybrid environments, ensuring that SLA and uptime targets are met.
• Create and maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, processes, and compliance controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., ISAE 3402-2, IEC 62443, NIS2, SOC 2).
• Contribute to automation initiatives (IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, backup, access management, etc.).
• Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers, Architects, and the Internal IT Manager to ensure infrastructure supports both product and business needs.
• Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and reporting on infrastructure controls and compliance.
• Mentor colleagues and drive adoption of best practices in infrastructure management and documentation.
• Ensure cost efficiency in infrastructure operations, including oversight of technology spend and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and preferably AWS).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., ScienceLogic, Prometheus, Bicep, Ansible).
• Familiarity with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Previous exposure to ISAE, ISO, or NIS2 audits.

Relevant certifications (nice to have)

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or higher)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• ITIL v4 Foundation
