The Team:

The Office of the Executive Director of Operations and Performance is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Hospitals North West to enable the delivery of quality services and to meet the requirements of the Service Plan, Patient Flow and Access, Finance and Budget, and other relevant performance indicators. 

The Role:

The Executive Assistant:

  • Provides business, project and research related administrative support to the Chief Executive Hospitals North West and/or the Executive Director of Operations and Performance Hospitals North West, including the administrative management of clinical/financial information and correspondence, which is often of a confidential and highly sensitive nature.
  • Contributes to the Administration team for the hospital to ensure sustainable administration support is available at all times.

You Will Need

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and sound judgment in interpreting information and determining appropriate actions in a dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to project-based work through research, analysis, and information collation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience in liaising sensitively and confidentially with a wide range of stakeholders, and proficiency in contemporary administrative practices and digital tools.

Details Of Appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 6 October 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022.
