Why your role matters
The Project Officer WA supports AGSM Short Courses, with a focus on courses delivered for AGSM clients located in WA. The role covers project coordination, reporting and analysis, communications, relationship management, and administration for AGSM Short Course programs. It ensures participants have seamless, personalised experience from onboarding to completion. The position is based in WA, reporting to the Head of Delivery and Operations and supporting the Director of AGSM Executive Education.
About The Role
You will be required to undertake and have experience in the following areas of expertise:
- Support the delivery of AGSM Short Courses programs and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals
- Coordinate program logistics including venue bookings, catering, workshop coordination, technology support, attendance monitoring, and communications
- Prepare course materials, participant communications, and post-program engagement to ensure a cohesive and professional learning journey
- Support the development of project plans and schedules and participate in planning processes as required.
- Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects.
- Provide practical and proactive project support and administrative services to project team and stakeholders.
- Assess and monitor project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
- Coordinate project administration including coordination of workshops and meetings, manage assigned actions and follow-ups and project status reporting.
- Develop and manage effective communications with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the project.
- Provide high-touch, participant-focused support throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring each learner feels valued and supported.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced
- Demonstrated customer service orientation, with the ability to provide empathetic, solution focused support to diverse participants.
- Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office and learning management/communication platforms
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
