The quality of search results and AI-generated responses is critical to the success of LexisNexis online products. To ensure that our search and generative AI solutions continually improve, we conduct hundreds of Human Relevance Tests (HRT) each year. These tests rely on subject matter experts (SMEs) to evaluate the quality of search queries and AI responses.
We are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the execution of these tests. This role will work closely with the Testing Program Leader, workstream leads, and HRT Test Analysts to ensure the timely and effective setup, administration, and completion of tests.
This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad range of products and teams and to directly influence the quality of our customers’ search experience.
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate all pre-test setup activities and external dependencies, including test prompts/queries, data collection and preparation, SME resources, and testing tool requirements.
- Monitor and communicate test progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring visibility and alignment with stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities across workstreams with guidance from the program leader.
- Review resource allocation and proactively recommend adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks, proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Provide clear documentation, progress tracking, and reporting to leadership.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement, including efficiency enhancements, reporting, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Solid project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience coordinating team work flow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Knowledge/experience of agile development methodologies a plus.
- Experience in data visualization or reporting a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- We operate as an agile development team, with daily stand-ups; must be able to attend daily stand-ups US-based teams (little bit of UK and South Africa) at mid-shift (4AM-12NN EST)
