Are you passionate about shaping the future of home lending at Westpac? We’re looking for a strategic and inspiring leader to take charge of our Virtual Home Lending Channel. In this pivotal role, you’ll set the vision and culture for the team, ensuring we deliver a seamless, market-leading experience for our customers—whether they’re first-home buyers or navigating more complex lending scenarios.

You’ll be responsible for driving sustainable growth in home lending, empowering your leaders and teams to provide expert advice, and fostering a high-performance, customer-obsessed culture. Your leadership will be key in integrating technology, data-driven insights, and market intelligence to optimise our customer journeys and keep Westpac NZ ahead of the curve. You’ll also play a central role in developing strategic partnerships and engaging stakeholders to continually enhance our product and service offerings.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

• 5+ years’ experience in residential home lending, with comprehensive knowledge of complex lending (construction, shared equity, investment, property development, prebuilt lending).
• 3+ years’ leadership experience, including leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with small business financials and lending.
• Proven leadership at a senior level, with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Operational strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and coaching skills.
• Tech-savvy mindset, embracing change and new technologies.
• High ethical standards, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering positive outcomes for both customers and Westpac NZ.
