As a High Net Worth (HNW) Case Manager within the Underwriting team, you will be responsible for steering the smooth and timely progression of complex insurance applications for HNW clients. While reporting to a Team Leader, Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing your assigned channel, ensuring each case is handled with accuracy, responsiveness, and care.This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will play an important role in maintaining service standards and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Job Description:
- Manage the end-to-end New Business journey, ensuring timely and compliant execution while delivering a positive and seamless customer experience.
- Facilitate communication between underwriters, sales teams, intermediaries, and operational units to maintain case momentum and provide timely updates.
- Liaise with medical service providers to ensure prompt delivery of required reports and documentation.
- Handle stakeholder interactions with professionalism, tact, and a client-centric approach.
- Provide proactive updates to advisers and intermediaries regarding the status of their clients’ applications.
- Maintain high service standards tailored to the expectations of HNW clients, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness throughout the case lifecycle.
- Identify and escalate issues that may impact case progression, while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For:

- Strong working knowledge of underwriting principles, new business operations, and relevant insurance laws and regulations.
- Proven conflict resolution and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrates strong initiative, a keen learning mindset, and adaptability in a dynamic and evolving business landscape.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with agility and composure.
Working Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in insurance or financial services.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI for data tracking and reporting.
Professional Qualifications:
- Preferably with Insurance-related certifications (e.g. FLMI (LOMA), CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9A & Health Insurance).
Education:
- Professional insurance qualification (e.g., LOMA, FLMI, or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
