Be part of the Physical Security systems and technology team responsible for supporting Corporate Security and their IT solutions. You will have the chance to learn the strategic technology used at all First Citizens Bank’s sites to secure access and other aspects related to Corporate Security, enterprise security including site creation and divestment activities.

As a subject matter expert, you'll define requirements for technical security systems, policies and standards that protect our people and assets, while fostering a culture of innovation and agility in security. Based in our dynamic and collaborative environment, you'll deliver global security standards that truly add value to our business, influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Deliverables
- Install, configure, commission, and maintain physical security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection).
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring system uptime, compliance, and alignment with corporate standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams for deployment, commissioning, and support.
- Conduct audits, system health checks, and implement remediation actions for compliance and resilience.
- Develop documentation, system architecture drawings, and standardized operating procedures.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies with rapid troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Leverage Tableau and Power BI to develop dashboards, analyze security logs, track incident trends, and monitor system performance for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the installation, programming, and management of all physical security related systems and operations including software, hardware, and operation.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of existing installations.
- Manage and supervise integrator(s) and engineering companies during the construction phase and ensure adherence to FCB Corporate Security technology standards.
- Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors responsible for post-installation maintenance of security systems, ensuring adherence to Security Standards.
- Assist staff and improve the knowledge and skills of others, including identifying areas for enhancement, developing training programs, and instructing personnel on access control, CCTV, and technical equipment related topics.
- Ensure all technical systems are maintained with current software and firmware revisions, are routinely backed-up for data retrieval, and are routinely tested (by others) for emergency power transfer and continuing operations during power failure.
- Work in collaboration with the Security Operations team to define, recommend, and implement access control and security policies and standards.
- Perform all work in compliance with plans, specifications, industry standards, best practices, and FCB Corporate Physical Technology standards.
- Provide direction and training as it relates to physical security systems and badging.
- Perform regular administrative tasks such as maintaining files, processing paperwork, entering data, and monitoring access control and CCTV systems.
- Ability to provide after-hours support in case of a technical emergency and respond immediately if required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience in security technology, security management, or IT operations.
- Hands-on expertise with CCure 9000, Milestone VMS, AccessIT, and other physical security platforms (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, key control, etc.).
- Experience in working with large-scale network devices, databases, and Azure cloud environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and SQL scripting for automation, reporting, and system management.
- Extensive knowledge of data visualization and processing tools such as Tableau and Power BI for analysis of security logs, incident data, and system performance.
- Ability to create IT construction drawings, technical specifications, and detailed reports.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing security zones of protection in line with corporate standards.
- Product certifications in CCure, Milestone, AccessIT, Verint (preferred).
Skills And Qualification
Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security operations, compliance, and risk management.
- Vendor/project management, training, and incident handling skills.
Technical/Business Skills:
- • Hands-on expertise in CCure 9000, Milestone VMS, AccessIT.
- • Experience with Azure, databases, networked devices, PowerShell/SQL.
- • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integration, Automation.
- • Ability to create technical drawings, reports, and system documentation.
Relationships & Collaboration
- • Partner with Security Operations, IT, and Engineering teams.
- • Manage vendors and integrators for installations and maintenance.
- • Support audits, compliance teams, and provide user/end-user training.
