About The Role:

The role is aimed to reach sales targets of the assigned customers within the assigned channels, developing and managing the overall business by analysing and monitoring performance. The incumbent will be responsible for the joint business planning and accelerating the development of the assigned customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance, influence, and lead distributor teams to plan and execute the sales strategy
  • Lead and develop channel planning in collaboration with distributor teams to implement strategic goals for business growth
  • Define distribution targets per SKU for the assigned channel and establish display standards and appropriate POS materials by format, for both occasion-based and permanent placements
  • Set improvement targets for My Perfect Store KPIs to ensure full store coverage within the assigned channel
  • Lead joint business planning with key retailers to align on mid- and long-term strategies that drive growth
  • Develop customer- and channel-specific plans to accelerate off-take and improve achievement of sales objectives
  • Analyze current customer performance and identify future business opportunities
  • Support distributor channel teams in defining customer-specific goals and strategies
  • Continuously monitor channel and customer performance
  • Manage trade spend and ensure it remains within the established guidelines for the channel
  • Approve distributor claims related to trade spend for the assigned channel
  • Link trade spending to specific business-driving activities (e.g., promotions, secondary placements)
  • Analyze trade spend to ensure optimal return on investment (ROI)
  • Monitor execution of distribution, display, and activation targets for the assigned channel; follow up and coordinate with distributor channel teams to ensure local execution aligns with defined plans
  • Evaluate proposals and input from distributor channel teams to ensure alignment with channel and category strategy
  • Monitor sales, stock levels, and building block KPIs for assigned customers
  • Review and resolve any SOA issues with distributors relevant to the assigned channel
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to develop specific sales arguments that support strategic goals for assigned customers
  • Monitor implementation of planograms and positioning at the central level

Who We Are Looking For:

  • University degree 
  • Strong commercial experience in sales and key account management within the FMCG industry
  • Solid market knowledge across traditional trade, modern trade, and impulse channels, along with trade marketing expertise (channel and customer planning, portfolio management)
  • In-depth understanding of commercial logistics, sales operations, field execution, and merchandising processes
  • Strong business acumen with attention to detail, analytical thinking, results orientation, KPI management, and process optimization
  • Advanced communication and influencing abilities, effective cross-functional collaboration, time management, and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders, with strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactivity, accountability, resilience under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
