About The Role
Entrust Community Services is seeking an Employment Placement Specialist to support individuals in achieving stability through meaningful employment. This role combines case management, advocacy, and community partnership development. The specialist will assess client needs, create individualized plans, connect participants with housing and job opportunities, provide training and support, and maintain strong relationships with employers, landlords, and community partners.
What You'Ll Do
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized employment plans.
- Assist clients in overcoming barriers to employment (transportation, budgeting, interview prep, independent living skills, etc.).
- Support clients in job searches, applications, training, job coaching, and workplace integration.
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers and agencies to create opportunities for participants.
- Advocate for participants’ rights, ensuring inclusion and equal access to resources.
- Monitor client progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report outcomes in compliance with program requirements.
- Educate employers and community members about program services and the benefits of partnering with Entrust.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, degree in Social Work, Business, Human Services, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in employment placement, sales/marketing, or case management.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (e.g., Setworks).
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical And Work Environment:
- Office-based with regular travel for community visits, job site support, and housing tours.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (some flexibility required to meet client needs).
