We currently seeking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Astana! Promoting and securing a significant portfolio of Grundfos products and services towards customers within commercial buildings will be one of the main tasks in this role. On a daily basis, you will be in close dialogue with wholesalers, installers, consultants and other technical personnel with our clients as trusted business partners.

What is the job about?

Most of your time you will be responsible of building and nurturing a broad network of clients and relations. This being a variety of attending specific client meetings, fairs and events. However, you will be part of our team in Astana and having a lot of flexibility to be working from home. In summary, your day-to-day tasks will be to:

  • Build solid relations with existing customers and develop new business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and trainings explaining products, solutions or services to customers and potential customers
  • Develop and realize a strategic action plan on how to develop your most important clients
  • Ensure diverse project portfolio and pipeline
  • Clarify, prepare and follow up on quotations according to guidelines
  • Handle professional support via phone and e-mail on a daily basis
  • Register activities and documentation in CRM
  • Collaborate internally as well as externally securing that clients are served timely and by the right people according to their requests

Your Background

We Imagine That You Have:

  • A technical educational background at bachelor’s level within engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience working with technical sales in Kazakhstan  
  • We consider it an advantage if you have experience in SAP and CRM
  • To succeed in the role, we expect candidates to possess strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build long-lasting professional relations
  • You are used to travel and consider it a privilege to be able to spend a lot of your time out in the field with your business relations
  • You are fluent local languages to meet customers’ expectations. You are also comfortable with English as this is our corporate language
