Backend Engineer (CDC)

Our CDC platform moves a lot of goods. The role requires robust services, clean contracts, and reliable operations. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for the system to work behind the scenes. The role is to integrate the application with all required systems and services and provide clean and easy-to-use API’s for the frontend part of the system.

• You'll design and develop backend services and data flows that are secure, observable, and scalable.
• You'll build and support middleware solutions for supply chain operations, streamlining warehouse functions end-to-end.
• You'll keep systems healthy with metrics, logs, traces, on-call readiness, and root-cause analysis.
• You'll collaborate cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Solution Architects, QA, and Frontend Engineers)
• You'll integrate with legacy systems and external/internal data sources.
• You'll write effective unit, integration, and API tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.

Requirements

• Solid backend fundamentals, with experience in Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge on SQL and experience with relational database systems including Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, queues, and caching.
• Experience defining and monitoring SLIs/SLOs, and tuning system performance.
• You have significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented restful API services and performance tuning largescale apps
• Demonstrated experience with Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, Node.js, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes.
