Mechanical Lead

• Managing Mechanical Project works on site and reporting direct to the Project Management Team.
• Identify and confirm the current status of all sub systems owned with regards to Construction, Completions, Quality and Commissioning.
• Collate all current design documentation of the systems to identify the current status of the document and action as required to be available for use.
• Liaise frequently with the Completions team to know the exact status of each sub system with regards to check sheet status for each individual tag.
• Attend frequent planning sessions to review the PFA to be aware of key dates, upcoming scopes, any required vendor site visits.
• Manage all required vendors for site visits (dates, site access, Purchase Orders etc).
• Be a HSE champion for the area/buildings.
• Attend progress update meetings with the client constantly demonstrating system status knowledge with the required information to hand.
• Attend resource requirement meetings with the Leadership team to fulfil any scopes coming up.
• Chair frequent meetings as required in readiness for upcoming scopes including the development of action trackers of current issues and actions to be addressed.
• Liaise frequently with the Quality team to maintain the concurrency of the LTQR’s associated with the systems in preparation for handover.
• Qualifications & Experience;
• CSCS Card required / An industry applicable HNC (desirable) ONC or City & Guilds / NVQ  equivalent,
• Relevant H&S qualifications (IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management, A relevant CSCS card and First Aid training)
• Construction Manager NVQ level 6.
• Qualifying Manager with Technical knowledge of M&E scopes
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Planning knowledge (P6 Primavera)
• Manage supply chain and sub-contractors
• Knowledge of ORIBIT completes software would be an advantage
• Self motivation
• Be able to organise yourself and others workload
• Be proactive in your approach
• An excellent communicator
• A high level of diplomacy and client focused
• Must be able to obtain SC clearance
