Program Coordinator

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Applied Research Center for Hypersonics (ARCH) Directorate within the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

Responsibilities Include:

• Track obligations and expenditures for Center and Center affiliated projects
• Proposal formatting and routing
• Technical writing editing
• Sponsor project communications (formatting reports, briefings, etc…)
• Track project suspense requirements and engage with requirement process owner to track completion.
• Works with project owners and/or leads to ensure on time deliverables that fall within the applicable scope and budget.
• Manages changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate techniques.
• Assists Principle investigators to effectively communicate task progress to team members, sponsors and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Prepares reports and briefings for management regarding status of project and escalates issues as needed.
• Interacts, collaborates and coordinates with the principle investigators, project team, other departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 5 years experience
• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience working in military or defense simulation environments
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
