Description
Greenwood ProjectThe Greenwood Project was founded in 2016 based on two core principles: “Students can’t be what they can’t see”
and
“There is no lack of talent, only a lack of opportunity.”
GP’s mission is bold, essential and long overdue. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for qualified Black and Latino college students to attain high-trajectory careers in financial services through rigorous training and internships. At Greenwood Project, we don’t just talk about change; we are the catalyst for it, breaking barriers and building a more inclusive and diverse financial industry. Our people are the foundation that allows us to achieve our ambitious goals. Becoming part of the Greenwood Project team means joining a group of driven, passionate and intellectually curious individuals. To work here is to be crucial to the organization’s success. We're seeking a part-time Revenue Operations Lead to architect and manage the systems that fuel Greenwood's revenue engine. This is not a fundraising role. It's a revenue enablement position focused on building the infrastructure, rhythms, and insights that help our lean 3-person team drive consistent, scalable growth as we aim to double our revenue over the next 5 years. You won't be pitching or prospecting. Instead, you'll be the architect behind our sales efforts, optimizing our CRM, owning pipeline reporting, managing forecast cadences, and keeping the team aligned and accountable. You'll work closely with the CEO and team leadership to ensure our revenue engine runs smoothly and strategically, with clarity, discipline, and data at the center. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, operational environments, works confidently with data, and brings structure to complex challenges. Your impact will be tangible. The systems and processes you build will generate real revenue and drive meaningful outcomes for Greenwood Project's Scholars. You'll play a key role in advancing our Revenue Operations roadmap, including projects like integrating sales tools, refining reporting frameworks, and improving how we track, measure, and scale our success.
Key Responsibilities
Core Focus (Immediate Priorities)- CRM Ownership: Serve as the HubSpot owner, ensuring clean data, consistent activity logging, and visibility across the pipeline. Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Regular Operations & Accountability: Proactively monitor pipeline health through systematic follow-ups on missing data, overdue tasks, and stale opportunities. Act as "air traffic control" by flagging gaps and ensuring consistent process adherence across the team.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Establish a predictable revenue rhythm by leading weekly pipeline reviews, monthly forecasts, and quarterly board reporting. Replace ad hoc reports with real-time dashboards that surface actionable insights.
- Revenue Quality & Compliance: Uphold consistent standards for revenue tracking, including booked cash, renewals, and pipeline integrity.
- Partnership & Renewal Management: Build and maintain systematic outreach cadences for key funders and partners, including renewal timelines, stewardship touchpoints, and automated reminders to ensure no critical relationships fall through the cracks.
- Build the Revenue Engine: Design and scale systems, tools, and processes that power Greenwood's sales and partnerships function.
- Strategic Analysis & Process Documentation: Conduct win/loss analysis, segment performance reviews, and campaign effectiveness studies. Create playbooks, SOPs, and training materials that scale team knowledge and ensure consistent execution.
- Systems Integration: Connect HubSpot seamlessly with QuickBooks, Power BI, and other platforms to create a unified, automated data ecosystem.
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows for data entry, task assignments, and follow-up reminders to minimize manual work and ensure systematic execution of revenue processes.
- Team Enablement: Train and support the CEO and revenue team in CRM best practices, reporting discipline, and process adoption.
You might start your week reviewing pipeline gaps and sending follow-up reminders, coaching a team member on CRM hygiene, and building a dashboard for board reporting, and end the week leading the weekly pipeline review. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
