We’re hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, control systems, and facility electrical infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment, including motors, control panels, sensors, relays, and wiring
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Install and maintain electrical components of manufacturing machinery, such as drives, PLCs, and circuit breakers
  • Use testing devices (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes) to locate electrical faults
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support root cause analysis and equipment upgrades
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records in CMMS or tracking systems
  • Support plant shutdowns, installations, and special projects as needed

Professional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance experience
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, controls, and power distribution
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial automation equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E and other relevant electrical safety standards
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or licensed electrician status preferred
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied environmental conditions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and manufacturing conditions (PPE provided)
