About The Role

As the Electrical Maintenance Coordinator at our Greenbushes Lithium Operation, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You will work closely with planning teams and maintenance staff to schedule work, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities Include:

  • coordinate and enforce company policies and safety standards;
  • ensure all work complies with the WHS Act 2020, WHS Regulations 2022, Australian Standards, and site-specific requirements;
  • liaise with planning teams to manage work schedules and ensure task readiness;
  • facilitate toolbox talks, daily pre-starts, and safety meetings;
  • allocate and prioritise daily work orders;
  • support continuous improvement initiatives and change management;
  • monitor maintenance activities to ensure cost effectiveness and budget compliance;
  • oversee contractor coordination, roster planning, and labour allocation;
  • conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure timely rectification of issues;
  • create purchase requests for equipment, parts, and materials as needed;
  • report on maintenance activities, KPIs, and departmental performance; and
  • support line management in achieving strategic maintenance goals.

About The Candidate

We are looking for a highly organised and safety-conscious electrical professional with strong leadership and coordination skills. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with the ability to manage workflows, resources, and teams effectively in a dynamic operational environment.

Qualifications And Competencies:

  • minimum Electrical Trade Qualification;
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation;
  • unrestricted A Grade Electrical Workers Licence;
  • Apply First Aid;
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence;
  • High-Risk Licence;
  • Talison Hold/Issue Permits;
  • BSBWHS411 – Implement and Monitor WHS Policies, Procedures and Programs;
  • BSBWHS414 – Contribute to WHS Risk Management;
  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or Maintenance Management; and
  • working knowledge of WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, Schedule 26 Section 5.

Incumbent should have skills and experience in:

  • minimum 5 years in an electrical leadership maintenance role;
  • High Voltage Switching Operators Certificate and extensive HV experience;
  • PLC, Citect and field instrumentation;
  • Safety analysis and toolbox meeting facilitation;
  • AS/NZS 3000:2008 compliance knowledge;
  • CCMS and workflow management;
  • Identify and plan
  • Schedule and execute
  • Complete and analyse
  • Fault finding and technical problem solving;
  • task scoping and resource/time management;
  • Technical drawing and vendor manual interpretation;
  • critical spares identification;
  • strong interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills;
  • IR knowledge (grievances, discipline);
  • Budgeting and cost control capabilities;
  • maintenance strategy and lean philosophy understanding; and
  • High level of computer literacy.
