Your role, your impact
As Senior Clinical Coordinator, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting young people with complex and chronic mental health needs. You’ll manage referrals, coordinate intake, and deliver brief, evidence-based interventions. Your leadership will foster a culture of hope, compassion, and continuous improvement, helping young people and their support networks navigate challenges and build resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate enquiries, referrals, and intake assessments, including service navigation for ineligible referrals and capacity building with community referrers.
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical supervision and overseeing day-to-day operations, allocations, and workload planning.
- Deliver brief/short-term, evidence-based interventions to young people and their support networks.
- Support the team in case formulation, risk assessment, care coordination, and treatment for complex mental health issues.
- Facilitate team meetings, clinical reviews, professional development, and program planning.
- Arrange and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect data and report regularly based on service requirements.
- Complete all organisational accountability and reporting requirements accurately and on time.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a compassionate, courageous leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their support networks. You’ll bring clinical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering hope and resilience.
- Experience in clinical leadership, including providing supervision.
- Experience in intake and assessment of referrals.
- Demonstrated ability to work clinically with young people and their support networks in the context of severe mental health issues, including case management and delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Experience in program evaluation/coordination.
- Strong communication, engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, collaborative, and culturally competent team player.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback and self-improvement.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or related discipline.
- Eligibility for membership in qualified field.
- Current state-based driver’s license.
