Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Category Manager - Injection Molding for Water Innovations to join our team in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. This role contributes to the success of the organization’s global sourcing strategy, ensuring the achievement of cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the supply chain.

• Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Drive negotiations for high-value contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
• Think Fast by identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
• Work it Together by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals.
• Make the Hard Call by driving cost reduction and efficiency improvements through the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR a total of 10 years of relevant work experience (5+ years in Sourcing ) if no college degree.   
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement; leading, developing and managing supply chain strategy and supply base.
• Experience creating category strategies to manage tariff situations in different countries.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing injection molding components, including knowledge of polymer materials, mold design, and tooling project lifecycle management.
• Ability to travel as needed.  
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts while driving cost savings 
• Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increase capacity
• Collaborative approach to communication and problem-solving with a passion for  sharing knowledge with colleagues
• Ability to foster trust and build strong interpersonal connections with leadership teams
