Position Overview

As a Staff Engineer, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of the Third-Party Manager (TPM) platform, building secure, scalable microservices and modern, high-performance front-ends. You will drive migration from legacy Monolith Legacy systems to a modern React/NextJS/NestJS stack, guide the Azure to AWS migration, and spearhead AI-driven initiatives, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI use cases. Your expertise in full-stack development, platform integrations (REST, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and microservices-based scalable architectures will ensure a cutting-edge, future-ready TPM platform. 

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Define and drive architecture and design for TPM, ensuring security, scalability, and performance across front-end and back-end systems. 
• Full-Stack Ownership: Lead development using React, NextJS, NestJS, and microservices architectures with MySQL and MSSQL databases. 
• Cloud Expertise & Migration: Strategize and execute Azure-to-AWS cloud migration, leveraging deep expertise in AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, EventBridge, SQS, IAM, CDK, etc.) with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). 
• Legacy System Modernization: Work confidently with legacy technologies to plan and execute migration to modern stacks. 
• AI & Innovation: Lead POCs and implementation of AI-driven solutions, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and intelligent agent-based workflows. 
• Platform Integrations: Ensure seamless integration with Diligent One platforms using REST and Event Driven Architectures 
• Collaboration & Communication: Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design illustrations while driving discussions with cross-functional stakeholders. 
• Hands-on Development & Mentorship: Be deeply involved in hands-on coding, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence. 

What You Need to Succeed 

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of leading architecture and design of large-scale platforms. 
• Expertise in full-stack development using React, NextJS, NestJS, and scalable microservices architectures. 
• Strong database experience with MySQL and MSSQL, including schema design and performance optimization. 
• Ability to envision and execute in Azure-to-AWS cloud migration, deep knowledge of AWS services, and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK/Terraform). 
• Skilled in working with legacy technologies to migrate and modernize systems effectively. 
• Strong understanding of security protocols (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and secure system design using OWASP considerations. 
• Hands-on experience in AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI solutions. 
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to create clear architecture illustrations and lead technical discussions. 
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent) is a strong plus.
