We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to patrol a high-traffic metal yard in San Jose on a graveyard shift.

This is a key role that requires excellent customer service, proactive observation, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the safety of the site.

Position Responsibilities:

• Access Control: Maintain strict access control for the metal yard, verifying all personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the property.
• Theft Deterrence: Actively patrol the premises to prevent theft and deter criminal activity, ensuring the security of valuable materials.
• Hourly Patrols: Conduct thorough, systematic patrols of the entire site on an hourly basis, documenting any findings.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to staff and clients, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor at all times.
• Reporting: Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card & BSIS Firearm Permit (required).
• Required Equipment: Must have your own firearm permit, vest, and holster.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have a personal vehicle for reliable transportation to and from the site.
• Graveyard Shift Experience: Proven experience and comfort working graveyard shifts.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:

$26.00 Per Hour

Shifts:Saturday - - - 10:00 Pm - 6:00 Amsunday - - - 10:00 Pm - 6:00 Am
