The Outbound Communication team develops high-throughput solutions that allow the delivery of transactional and marketing messages, including push notifications, emails, SMS, and more, to millions of users, while also improving in-app communication experiences. We take pride in building distributed systems that have an impact on the lives of millions of users in our endeavor to out-serve the underserved population. Get to know the role

We are looking for passionate developers with the required skills and then some to join our team. You will have opportunities to design backend components and services. Not only will you get to collaborate with the product, business, and program management teams to be on top of your deliverables, but you will also serve as a mentor to your teammates to help meet the teams' deliverables and goals. You will report to the Engineering Manager. You will be based in HCMC and you will work in the office

The Critical tasks you will perform

• Design and write with the modern GO language to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our range of services. Work with the engineering team to explore and create new designs/architecture geared towards scale and performance.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
• Participate in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product and experience teams to define and prototype feature specifications
• Work with the infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services and performing root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop, analyze and fix large-scale systems.
• You are required to participate in team on-call rotation to help us achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields with Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment.
• Have excellent experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners, regarding the current system's growth and stability.
• You are proficient in at least one programming language and the fundamentals of CS, such as Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
• You have a working knowledge of building backend systems around DBMS, Caches, NoSQL, Web, and App servers.
• Expertise in web development, including ReactJS and Redux.
