In This Role
You will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing supply chain operations by developing, mapping, and improving end-to-end business processes. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to document current workflows, design future state processes, and implement tools and reports that improve efficiency. The role combines process design expertise, supply chain knowledge, and hands-on system (SAP) and reporting skills to support seamless operations and drive measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities by representing the operations role, validating workflows, and contributing to change management.
- Leverage SAP transactions to support buy/sell and operational processes (e.g., purchase order creation, material flow management).
- Create and manage reporting and tools using Excel to track performance, monitor efficiency, and support operational decision-making.
- Conduct current state process mapping and collaborate with stakeholders to define future state workflows.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with subject matter experts to gather requirements and validate process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including transaction manuals, exception handling guides, and escalation paths.
- Recommend and implement workflow automation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for ongoing process improvement.
- Ensure smooth handover of processes and knowledge through complete documentation, training, and cross-functional alignment.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role within supply chain or operations.
- Strong background in process mapping, process design, and business process documentation.
- SAP experience (3–5 years) in a supply chain or operations context (purchase orders, material planning, or related transactions).
- Excel expertise (3–5 years) with advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, operations, finance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and presenting documentation to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple deliverables and timelines.
- Experience in supply chain operations, buy/sell processes, or material requirements planning (MRP).
- Exposure to workflow automation tools or process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
- Background in industrial engineering, operations management, or process engineering.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP integration points across procurement, logistics, and finance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and track process efficiency improvements.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $100,000 - $110,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
