Job Description

Scope:

This role is the main interface between Sirtex Medical products and its customers.

The primary objective is to develop and manage business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships with existing SIRT centres in Singapore and potentially Brunei. The KAM will establish new centres where appropriate, while maintaining lasting relationships with existing treating Interventional Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians. Additionally, to grow the number of patients referred to each existing SIRT centres by increasing the number of referring Oncologists, Hepatologists, Hepatobiliary surgeons and Gastroenterologists.

As the liaison between Sirtex and its customers, the KAM will champion customer success by providing training, education, and technical support, while capturing valuable market insights to shape strategy. This role is critical in positioning Sirtex as a trusted partner, ensuring seamless adoption of our products, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Achieve sales target by accurately identifying the potential of all industry related health care professionals.; and work with these identified professionals to drive patient referral and treatment with SIR-Spheres Y90 resin microspheres.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand the customer base, strengthen partnerships, and grow therapy adoption within the assigned territory.
  • Plan and facilitate peer-to-peer meetings and educational workshops to engage healthcare professionals, share clinical insights, and support therapy adoption.
  • Continually monitor and analyse opportunities for new business within the designated territories.
  • Evaluate and implement participation in hospitals formularies, tenders for SIR-Spheres Y90 resin microspheres.
  • Actively participate in meetings and development activities to ensure sales skills, product and industry knowledge are maintained.
  • Support trade shows, symposiums, and meetings by engaging attendees, sharing insights, and collecting leads to drive future opportunities.
  • Attend treatment procedures in the radiology/angio-suite when required.
  • Deliver demonstrations and training sessions to doctors and healthcare professionals
  • Timely submission of a monthly report on sales performance, activities, sales forecast, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support team objectives and business priorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with all corporate policies, quality system procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Business
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in medical device/biotechnology/pharmaceutical; oncology/radiology experience will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate consistent sales success over time
  • Strong communication skills and with ability to present clinical knowledge and information in a highly effective manner.
  • Ability to establish sound interpersonal relationships with a variety of people, both internally and externally.
  • Driven, motivated and with positive attitude.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  •  Professional, presentable and customer oriented.
