The Regional KAM is responsible for the development of the Modern Trade channel across the CASA region (Central America, Andean Region, Caribbean) by implementing Red Bull's sales strategy. This includes managing and developing regional and local key accounts in collaborating with local KAMs, identifying top growth opportunities, creating business cases, managing financials, and aligning promotional calendars to meet sales and financial targets.
The Regional Key Account manager is a challenging, hands-on regional leader and team player who sets clear expectations and plans to reach the aggressive goals, who is able to build strong strategic customer relationships and to collaborate within the company cross-functionally and internationally.
Job Description
Management Of Regional Key Accounts
- Strategy: lead and manage the implementation of Red Bulls commercial strategy at key customers.
- Management: of regional key accounts and local key accounts jointly with local KAMs.
- Level up the management of key accounts from transactional to strategic by leveraging Red Bull assets and expertise to implement long term sales drivers.
- Analysis and planning: Develop the local business plans and business cases with local KAMs by analyzing available data sources and growth opportunities. Create effective and efficient promotion plans.
- Execution: lead and support yearly negotiations process at key customers to achieve long term profitable growth.
Uplevel Key Account Management
- Point of contact for local KAMs to discuss and find the best way to manage specific local key account topics.
- Strengthen the customer P&L and promotion management across the region to fine tune plans and investments.
- Provide local hands-on support to selected countries when needed.
- Create and/or deploy key account management tools
- Develop sales activations to win in-store.
General Projects
- Drive and support with the Off Premise Manager other ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years in Key Account Management, ideally in FMCG/beverage with focus on Retail and Impulse. Experience in Category Management & Trade Marketing preferred.
- Proven front-line negotiation skills in yearly negotiations.
- Strategic & Financial Acumen: strong understanding of customer P&Ls, promotional planning and analysis, and financial impacts of sales decisions.
- Data-Driven - skilled in analyzing sales/customer data to develop high-value plans and initiatives.
- Proficient in SAP/BI tools and advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-driven, innovative, and collaborative.
- Commercially focused with a strategic, big-picture mindset.
