Manager Information Technology

We are a fast-growing professional services firm specializing in cybersecurity compliance, technology assurance, and global operations. With a team of 150 professionals worldwide and growing, we provide high-impact solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients across industries. We are seeking a Manager of Information Technology to lead and scale our IT support and security operations. 

The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day technology operations of the firm, ensuring reliable IT support for our global workforce, enforcing security best practices, and driving operational excellence across systems and policies. This position requires both hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational efficiency. 

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT support operations for +150 users worldwide.  
• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware provisioning (laptop procurement, shipping, setup, and recovery) for employees worldwide. 
• Own IT ticketing systems, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical requests and incident response. 
• Implement, manage, and continuously improve IT processes aligned with Agile practices. 
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices. 
• Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding processes. 
• Serve as the primary escalation point for IT-related issues while building a team for long-term support. 
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and IT services. 
• Oversee system administration and user management within Microsoft environments (Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, etc.). 
• Administer and integrate Okta for SSO and identity management. 
• Create, manage, and integrate users across platforms and tools to streamline access and workflows. 
• Experience in API integrations between internal systems and third-party applications is a plus. 
• Monitor and optimize IT service performance, providing regular reporting and recommendations to leadership. Leadership & Growth: 
• Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills with a plan to lead and onboard new hires within 3–6 months. 
• Set clear expectations and guide gradual team growth, avoiding unrealistic ramp-up timelines. 
• Uphold consistency in process decisions to build trust and maintain hiring momentum. Security Governance: 
• Enforce access controls and approval workflows to reduce risk exposure. 
• Support upcoming security tightening efforts, ensuring staff compliance and workflow adaptation. 
• Actively reduce non-compliant behavior by creating structure and enforcing policy. 

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years reporting directly to leadership, preferably in a fully remote/global company. 
• Proven track record of building or scaling IT teams and processes. 
• Strong expertise in Microsoft environments (Office 365, Intune, Azure AD, Endpoint Manager). 
• Experience with Okta administration, API integrations, and user management. 
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk) and Agile workflows. 
• Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and data protection best practices. 
• Hands-on experience managing global hardware logistics and remote IT support. 
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. 
• English fluency required; additional languages are a plus. 

Nice To Have

• Certifications in Microsoft, cybersecurity frameworks, or Agile methodologies. 
• Experience in high-growth startups or professional services firms. 
• Exposure to compliance-driven industries (cybersecurity, finance, or healthcare). 
• Vendor negotiation and budget management experience. 
• Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
