The Opportunity:
The Learning Solutions Specialist, PSP is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of learning programs that support skill development, knowledge, and performance of team members working within our Patient Support Program (PSP) division. This includes but is not limited to new hire training, program launches, and other identified training initiatives.
The Learning Solutions Specialist, PSP will work closely with the Patient Programs leadership team and other strategic partners to develop and deliver training that helps drive successful business outcomes.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
- Design, develop and facilitate training sessions that support the PSP workforce including but not limited to: Case Managers, Administrative Assistants, Supervisors, Program Managers and other related roles within PSP as required
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain in-depth understanding of the PSP content and knowledge
- Create instructional materials (eLearning modules, decks, user guides, job aids, lesson plans, etc.)
- Utilize Work Instructions and SOPs, to create learner friendly materials
- Deliver learning programs via eLearning, instructor-led, VILT, and blended learning solutions
- Optimize current LMS to host learning modules and create blended and self-guided learning programs
- Complete training needs analysis, identifying areas for improvement and knowledge gaps; create learning solutions that close the gap and address the needs of the business
- Evaluate current and future learning programs (Level 1-3 Evaluations) to determine effectiveness of the programs
- Consistently review learning programs and materials with a continuous improvement mindset
- Coordinate onboarding training with the Learning Solutions Coordinator, QA and PSP leaders
- Provide feedback to managers on new hire performance
- Assist in managing and creating content for the L&D Page
- Manage multiple competing priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Optimize training processes for efficiency
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Adult Education/Curriculum Development, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Patient Support Program experience with knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and process is considered an asset
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training best practices
- Advanced ability to learn and understand new content, systems and processes
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Knowledge and experience with various instructional design methodologies, designing robust training programs from scratch
- Experience with Microsoft Office and various learning authoring tools; Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), Canva, Camtasia, SnagIt, etc.
- Experience in creating SharePoint pages considered an asset
- Administrative experience in LMS is considered an asset
- Experience in conducting training needs analysis and providing successful learning solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading/editing and quality assurance
- Proven experience collaborating successfully with leaders and/or stakeholders within a cross-functional organization
- Ability to be agile and nimble in a fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset
- Effective organizational skills; excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Strong ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize projects
- Occasional travel may be required
- Bilingual (French and English) will be considered an asset
