About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Web Associate Contractor to support the Organic Growth team at Hims & Hers. This role will focus on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing content across our websites to improve SEO performance, user experience, and accuracy. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working in Contentful to execute a wide range of technical and optimization tasks. This person will collaborate closely with the Editorial, Engineering, Product, and Content teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment across initiatives.

This is a temporary, non-permanent position. The Content Operations Specialist will provide temporary backfill support to the Organic Growth team for approximately six months, averaging 10-15 hours a week. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth company and leader in the health and wellness industry.

You Will:

  • Build and manage CTA modules to drive engagement and conversions
  • Support A/B testing to measure and validate content enhancements and optimizations
  • Add imagery and embed videos to improve the quality and richness of existing content
  • Oversee site infrastructure updates and drive technical site enhancements
  • Build and configure new content types within Contentful
  • Perform audits of existing content to identify and remove outdated elements, including sunsetted products, brand ambassadors, images, and claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Implement schema updates to improve structured data and search visibility
  • Conduct site crawls to identify technical issues and SEO opportunities
  • Support on other technical initiatives as needed

You Have:

  • 1+ years of web publishing and content management experience
  • Knowledge of Contentful, with advanced proficiency in content creation, editing, and administration
  • Ability to navigate CMS interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and provide comprehensive training to users at all skill levels
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and technical SEO fundamentals
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Slack, and Monday.com to track progress and collaborate effectively with team members
  • A service-oriented mindset; you work quickly and collaboratively on technical projects and provide an informed perspective on web best practices
  • Motivation to work hard in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance numerous priorities and demands
  • Experience in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), considered a strong plus
