SMX is seeking a Program and Logistics Support Specialist to support USSOUTHCOM Counter Narcotics (CN) Program that creates and sustains C4ISR networks and capabilities that are focused on the detection, identification, and disruption of narcotics activities and organizations. This contract requirement will support combating narcotics activities within the a forementioned Area of Operations. We are seeking a Program and Logistics Support Specialist will provide direct support to the United States Security Cooperation Office (SCO) in Quito, Ecuador. This position is critical to the planning, coordination, and execution of Security Cooperation activities in alignment with USSOUTHCOM objectives. The specialist will serve as a key liaison between SCO Ecuador, USSOUTHCOM, and U.S. State Department representatives, ensuring seamless operational and logistical support across all mission areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Assist in driving strategic impact by providing support to the SCO Operations Officer in planning and executing Security Cooperation initiatives that directly contribute to USSOUTHCOM’s regional objectives
•    Engage and collaborate with US Air Force, Army, Navy, and Special Operations Forces to coordinate operations and key leader engagements
•    Lead cross-functional teams in collaboration by working closely with operations and training personnel and various government officials, DoD civilians, and foreign nationals to ensure mission success
•    Assisting USG in managing daily operations and SCO’s operational battle rhythm, to include, but not limited to calendar management, task tracking (TMT), event coordination, travel logistics, and expense reviews
•    Support, assist, manage and execute training activities as defined by the SCO 
•    Coordinate Global Training Initiatives, to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS) training efforts, when needed
•    Align SCO Ecuador activities with broader US Embassy initiatives to enhance interagency coordination
•    Manage receipt, accountability, and distribution of equipment and materials at SCO-designated locations
•    Maintain access to Controlled Access (CA) spaces and operate within secure systems including NIPR, SIPR, USSOUTHCOM, and State Department platforms
•    Support SCO missions through domestic and international travel as required 
•    Conduct training as required based on SCO directives
Required Skills/Experience
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with US government representatives and international partners
•    Experience conducting training and instructional sessions
•    Familiarity with US Security Cooperation programs and associated systems
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-agency environment
•    Eligibility to access classified systems and secure facilities
•    Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
•    Spanish language proficiency 
•    Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and all Microsoft Office applications
•    Secret Clearance

  • Desired Skills/Experience
  • •    Familiarity with Inter-Agency (IA) coordination, bi-lateral cooperation agreements, and Theater/Geographic Command processes USSOUTHCOM AOR experience is highly desired
  • •    Demonstrated experience in program management, logistics coordination, and international engagement, preferably in a military or government setting
  • •    Bachelor’s Degree

The proposed salary for this position is:$95,500$159,800 USD
