At SEEK, we believe infrastructure is a strategic differentiator. In this Principal Architect role, you'll drive our enterprise-wide cloud, infrastructure and networking direction—ensuring our platforms are scalable, secure, and resilient to support AI, product velocity and operational excellence.
You’ll lead SEEK’s strategic thinking in poly-cloud architecture, high-performance compute, resilient connectivity, observability, cost optimisation, and network security—partnering with Engineering, Security, Architecture and Platform teams to uplift foundational capabilities. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the enterprise-wide lead for Cloud, Infrastructure & Network Architecture, and:
- Define and evolve SEEK’s cloud, infra & network strategy, patterns and guardrails
- Champion cloud-native platforms, poly-cloud approaches, and internal developer platforms
- Simplify and consolidate architecture to improve cost, resilience and scale
- Lead a small team of Solution Architects and mentor senior engineers across APAC
- Partner with Security to embed zero-trust principles and compliance at scale
- Collaborate with Product & Data teams to ensure infra supports AI, ML and emerging workloads
- Provide architectural assurance and governance for SEEK’s most critical infra initiatives
- Maintain clear blueprints, roadmaps and strategy artefacts to guide future uplift
- Enable CI/CD, observability and traffic management foundations at a global scale

You’ll sit within SEEK’s Platform Architecture team—partnering across Security, Data & AI, Enterprise and Customer domains. The work you lead will enable speed and resilience for thousands of systems and millions of users across APAC.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in cloud, infrastructure and networking architecture
- Strong technical breadth across compute, storage, network, observability & CI/CD
- Deep expertise in poly-cloud, Kubernetes, service mesh, and cloud-native architecture
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale, federated environments
- Strength in strategy translation—shaping roadmaps, guardrails and governance
- Confident stakeholder engagement, mentoring and influencing across senior levels
- Experience uplifting cost, security, developer experience and performance in parallel
- Bonus: Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure and advanced network design
