Job Description

Due Diligence Assistant Manager (M/F)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Due Diligence Assistant Manager to join our Risk Management Division. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the bank’s credit portfolio by independently assessing the creditworthiness of corporate clients and evaluating business proposals submitted from the business lines.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives on analyzing complex financials, identifying risks, and providing sound recommendations that balance growth with risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Conduct financial analysis and credit risk assessments of corporate clients, reviewing balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, and forecasts.
  • Prepare Credit Analysis Reports and assign Risk Ratings, ensuring recommendations are backed by thorough due diligence, industry expertise, and sound judgment.
  • Continuously monitor the assigned portfolio, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and potential impacts to counterparties, with timely escalation of credit concerns.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and risk colleagues to ensure alignment with internal risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and the bank’s risk appetite.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and banking products.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese will be an additional advantage.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
