About The Role:
You will manage a team dedicated to the production of dubs in languages other than English. Using vendor partners you will manage the quality and on-time delivery of over 10 languages across EMEA, APAC and Latin America.
You will be a bridge between our content creators, translation team, vendors, distribution teams, English dubbing team and customer service teams for any topics related to dubbing. You will be an agent of change that is the leading voice when new processes are adopted. You will support the efforts of your teams to ensure that all localized content meets our licensors' and Crunchyroll's creative and technical standards in a thoughtful and time-sensitive environment.
As the Director of International Dubbing, you will report to the Senior Director, Localization

Responsibilities

Team Management
- Project management across internal and external teams
- Strategic planning and standard operating procedures creation
- Be the subject matter expert for subtitle style guides and specifications and localization for system development
- Write POs/manage payments across all vendor-produced languages
- Collaborate with partner teams
- Work with team leads to understand their needs and lead them through change.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are running smoothly.
- Mentor and coach team members.
- Roll out information and new standards to the teams.
- Manage project timelines/deadlines while communicating with the executive team.
- Manage multiple priorities and communication with stakeholders to correctly position each project in your teams' work queues.
- Set up tracking and reporting to promote proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Work with team leaders to document and improve SOPs
- Understand the contextual value of improvements to the supply chain.
- Always take the lead to communicate with your peers across departments so everyone is on the same page.
- Anticipate problems and work with partners to get in front of them.
- Collaborate to understand the full impact of decisions on partner teams.
- Proactively consider how to improve the overall functioning of the supply chain.
- Manage OKRs, metrics and post-mortems across the teams.
- Setting goals for each team leader and for the subtitling group generally and holding everyone accountable for success.
- Highlighting successes & volumes to management
- Using data to help drive efficiency
- Leading post-mortems across teams to help avoid repeating mistakes
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience working in entertainment, localization, or production-related roles.
- 12+ years of related experience within media localization
- Experience leading a scaling team across multiple time zones
- Experience building rapport and understanding the cultural nuances of leading and collaborating with a global team
- Passion for Anime, Japanese culture, and/or the Entertainment industry.
- Experience with technical tools (or equivalent), such as - Microsoft Office, PowerPoint or Keynote, Google Suite, Outlook, and Internet

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
