Overview

Recharge is looking for a motivated Solutions Engineer to execute on our growth strategy and provide support to our account management team.  You will be the foundational link and lead tech resource for the largest merchants leveraging the Recharge platform.  While you could find yourself involved in many different projects, your main responsibilities will include leading technical discussions, performing technical demos, consulting on best implementation practices, and providing merchant support via email and slack.

With this role, you must share our passion for subscription commerce, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done.  You are equally comfortable in a business setting interacting with executives, as well as in a technical context talking about the ins and outs of the Recharge product. You will also be getting in on the ground floor as an early team member on a high-growth solutions organization.  You will be critical in providing feedback on tools, processes, and training to shape our team and culture over time.

Please note: This is a hybrid role based out of our London office. Office location: Close to Old Street Station. 

What You’Ll Do

  • Live by and champion our values: #day-one, #ownership, #empathy, #humility
  • Act as a Recharge technical leader and trusted advisor to our account management team
  • Prepare for and lead technical discussions with teams ranging from executive-level business stakeholders to software engineers
  • Consult and provide technical insight to merchants on best go-to-market strategies
  • Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving eCommerce industry and continually evaluate how to position Recharge during the sales cycle
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and third party sponsorships on behalf of Recharge

What You'Ll Bring

  • Approximately 2 years of technical solutions engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of programming and debugging, as well as REST APIs and Webhooks (Python or Javascript preferred)
  • An understanding of the eCommerce industry and strong technical sales background preferred
  • Great oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

Compensation

Recharge’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. Salary ranges are designed to be competitive and aligned with country specific practices, while individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. The compensation listed is not inclusive of any equity and benefits that might exist in your total compensation package.

  • Hiring range OTE in GBP
  • £74,000 - £93,000 OTE
