The HR Risk and Compliance team provides strategic and operational leadership in the review, development and communication of the Bank’s Code of Conduct policies, disciplinary framework, as well as culture and conduct initiatives.
As an intern you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Support both internal and external HR audits with documentation preparation and response consolidation.
- Actively support the team in the implementation and communication of new initiatives relating to HR Risk & Compliance.
- Support the team to track/ close out Audit action points and the implementation of culture & conduct initiatives across the bank (For example, Culture & Conduct Roadshow).
- Assist with broader HR policy & process improvement reviews to ensure its effectiveness and applicability across all BOS markets. This includes conducting international regulatory checks.
- Support to ensure adherence to the governance of established internal and external risk frameworks.
- Support with any HR-related regulatory & Group reporting requirements and ensure controls are robust for accurate and timely report submissions.
- Manage and update contents on the HR Intranet to ensure that it remains relevant and up to date.
- Ensure that the bank’s Code of Conduct remains relevant and applicable to the business.
- Assist with end-to-end efforts relating the bank’s employee risk frameworks such as Employee Conduct Triggers and Manager Conduct Triggers programme. This includes analytics, system configuration and employee engagement initiatives.
- Participate and provide support in wider HR projects.
- Any other adhoc projects/initiatives.
Qualifications
- Able to multi-task, drive and deliver results under tight schedules and pressure.
- Self-starter - Resourceful with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous.
- Analytical and have outstanding Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
