About The Role

• As a Fraud Risk Data Scientist,you will work with internal and external partners to identify and implement key fraud risk technologies that improve the speed and accuracy of fraud review decisions. You will collaborate closely with the fraud department to optimize and manage decisioning tools for all incoming orders. 

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’sdegree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a relatedfield. 
• At least 2 yearsofprofessionalexperience in data scienceor a relatedarea. 
• Experienceutilizing machine learningalgorithmstodevelopmodelsforfrauddetection and riskassessment. 
• Intermediateproficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and frauddetectionmodeldevelopment. 
• Proficiency in SQL forquerying and analyzingdatabases. 
• Intermediatelevelof English. 
• Knowledgeof Google Cloud Platformis a plus. 

What You Will Do

• Assist in developing predictive machine learning models to detect online fraud and batch fraud. 
• Propose analytical strategies to enhance the company’s fraud prevention efforts. 
• Drive system enhancements to improve processes, such as creating new metrics and developing rules for the fraud prevention system. 
• Develop automation for operational processes required by other departments. 
• Design and build control dashboards to monitor key metrics and performance.
