So, what will you be doing?

External Stakeholder Management: Be Beauty Pie's primary point-person in dealings with external parties relevant to retail expansion, including prospective retail partners, landlords for potential flagship locations, and other necessary third-party vendors.

Internal Stakeholder Management: Be Beauty Pie’s primary point person in adapting Beauty Pie’s operation and bringing together commercial, operations and marketing efforts to be ready for transition to being a multi-channel brand.

Organisational Structure Development: Design and propose the necessary organisational structure for the new retail channels, including defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines.

Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for key permanent personnel required to staff the newly created retail organisational structure, working closely with Beauty Pie's Talent team.

Process & Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive operational processes, policies, and documentation for the management of the new retail channels. 

Channel Launch & Initial Trading: Oversee the end-to-end launch of the retail channels and actively trading the first few months of operations to ensure successful establishment and early performance.

Knowledge Transfer & Handover: Systematically transfer knowledge, processes, and operational accountability to the newly recruited permanent Beauty Pie teams. Ensure a comprehensive and seamless handover, providing ongoing support during the transition period as required.

This list represents the best view going into the work, but given the new ground that Beauty Pie is entering it is expected that this will evolve once the project begins.

  • Extensive experience in launching and scaling retail operations within the UK market, ideally with a focus on beauty or similar consumer goods.
  • Proven track record in establishing and running wholesale and/or concession partnerships with major UK retailers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement robust operational processes and organisational structures.
  • Strong project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in recruiting and onboarding retail teams.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.

We operate on a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days in the office each week— with some roles requiring more which will be outlined in the job spec.
