Advanced SATCOM Instructor

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking an Advanced SATCOM Intructor to support the NSSI. We have an immediate need for multiple individuals to develop curriculum for USSF Guardians in the Space Power Disciplines. This position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Advanced SATCOM operations related material and lessons.  Individuals will assist in the coordination, development and maintenance of space operations lessons, student learning levels, and delivery and measurement methods.  

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design, develop, implement and maintain lesson plans and material within the USAF Instructional Systems Development (ISD) guidelines to satisfy government educational requirements. 
• Interface with internal and external agencies and customer as required to maintain up to date education program materials. 
• Develop and maintain of Advanced SATCOM operations related material and lessons. 
• Assist in the coordination, development and maintenance of space operations lessons, student learning levels, and delivery and measurement methods.  
• Additional duties may be assigned.
• Travel is possible

Desired Experince:

• In depth knowledge of one or more USSF Space Competencies
• Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent Joint Service or civilian course/degree
• Experience with DoD training/education, including planning, developing, and delivering instruction in accordance and ISD model, training records keeping and documentation.
• Familiarity with USSF organizations, Guardian development and strategic direction

What You Will Need:

• Subject matter expert in SATCOM Operations
• Working knowledge of Commercial, Civil, and DOD space capabilities and operations
• Working knowledge and experience with training and education systems and programs (ISD)
• Working knowledge of, and experience with, DoD Operational level command and control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Master's degree from an accredited institution in relevant field (10 years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted for the education requirement) 
• Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required
