Job Description:Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, the Sr. Director of Global Communications and Media relations is responsible for advancing the company’s brand and reputation among customers, media, employees, investors, and other stakeholders. The global leader drives all aspects of internal and external communications & strategies, including strategic brand campaigns, media relations, issues/crisis management, and organic social. This position requires a high degree of collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams and executives to support corporate goals. Responsibilities:o Develop an innovative communications strategy to establish and advance the Anomali brand globally.o Oversee, lead and build a talented global Communications team encompassing both internal and external areas of expertise.o Drive strategy for CEO communications, with externally facing media channels, that builds the company’s reputation with key stakeholderso Serve as a key business partner to the executive staff in all facets of communications and branding.o Manage and grow our press program to influence key press, bloggers, and influencers related to securityo Bring forward new ideas and creative ways to boost executive media activity to support business goals.o Develop press releases, byline articles and blogs, manage a rapid response team, the Anomali speaker’s bureau, awards submissions, and make our customers security Rock Stars for their innovative approaches to using Anomalio Manage a customer marketing team to help drive references for the Anomali sales team and for external marketing activitieso Lead or support Customer Advocacy and implement a Customer Advocacy Board QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience: o Experience in communications and managing public relations agencies in North American and globally.o Experience driving Tier 1 media visibility including TV and respected publicationso BA/BS in marketing, communications, journalism or a related disciplineo 15 + years working at a PR agency and in-house as a communications and/or customer marketing lead at a cybersecurity companyo Prior experience creating or managing customer advocacy programs and/or Customer Advisory Boardo Excellent verbal, written and presentation skillso Energy and work ethic required to enthusiastically tackle and achieve huge goals and objectiveso Deep understanding of the security industryo Public company experience a plus Equal Opportunities MonitoringIt is our policy to ensure that all eligible persons have equal opportunity for employment and advancement on the basis of their ability, qualifications and aptitude.
