About The Role:
We are looking for a smart, driven Junior Recruiter with at least 1 year of agency recruiting experience to support our talent acquisition efforts. You’ll work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to source, screen, and coordinate interviews. This role is perfect for someone who is ambitious, enjoys finding great people, and wants to grow their recruiting career in a fast-paced tech/data environment. This position is based out of our Saddle Brook, NJ office. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage portions of the recruitment lifecycle: from sourcing and initial screening through scheduling interviews, coordinating feedback, and assisting in offer processes.
- Source both active and passive candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other creative channels.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure a good candidate experience.
- Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Maintain accurate data in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and update tracking tools (spreadsheets, dashboards).
- Assist with recruitment metrics and reporting: time-to-fill, pipeline status, source effectiveness, etc.
- Support onboarding logistics and basic hiring admin tasks (background checks, offer letters, etc.).
- Keep up to date with recruiting best practices, sourcing tools, and market trends.
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience in an agency setting (i.e. third-party recruiting / staffing).
Requirements
Required Skills And Experience:
- Some experience working full-cycle or close to full-cycle recruiting.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, etc.).
- Comfortable using ATS systems and managing candidate and job data.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple requisitions.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with basic Excel (tracking, filtering, reporting) or equivalent tools.
