Your Purpose

As our Product Designer, you will work to simplify financial services in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and enable financial inclusion. You will create innovative and user-friendly products that help us to become Latin America’s most loved crypto company. Your mission is to shape the user experience of our financial products, specifically focusing on the core of our exchange: liquidity.

You will be instrumental in creating a seamless and intuitive experience for our users, from individual traders to institutional clients. You'll need to master the balance between elegant visual design, deep user empathy, business objectives, and technical limitations. This role requires a designer who can not only design exceptional products but also drive strategic conversations and navigate complex stakeholder relationships across different teams and product lines.

Who You Are

• Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a data-driven approach to solving business problems.
• Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required to collaborate effectively with a diverse, international team.
• Design System Expertise: Proven experience using and contributing to a design system or component library. You should be comfortable working with tokens, components, and design system documentation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with design and prototyping in Figma. Experience using AI as part of the design process to enhance ideation, streamline repetitive tasks, and analyze user data is a plus.
• Data-Driven Mindset: A strong understanding of how to use data to inform and defend design decisions, as well as the ability to work with a range of metrics.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex, multi-platform problems into manageable and testable parts.
• An exceptional portfolio that highlights UX/UI work for web and mobile apps and/or design systems (please share a link to your portfolio with us).

What You Will Do

• Lead the end-to-end design process for the Liquidity Fleet, from initial research and ideation to high-fidelity prototypes and final hand-off to engineering.
• Translate complex financial concepts and user needs into clear, simple, and delightful product experiences.
• Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions and build a deep understanding of our users' behaviors, motivations, and pain points.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define product requirements, roadmap, and strategy.
• Drive design discussions and alignment across the organization, effectively managing feedback and expectations from multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Switch contexts and apply your expertise to a variety of products and user segments, understanding how liquidity impacts everything from our crypto exchange to our OTC (Over-the-Counter) desk.
• Work with data scientists and product managers to analyze user behavior on both web and mobile platforms. Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and measure the impact of your work.
• Contribute to the Design System: Apply and advocate for the use of our design system (web and mobile) to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all designs. Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing components and patterns within the design system based on your work.
