About the IT Audit Team
Our IT Audit team partners across departments to assess and elevate the integrity of Walmart’s technology controls and processes. By identifying and mitigating IT and security risks, the team ensures robust compliance with industry standards, supports innovation, and upholds the company’s mission to lead in customer excellence. As a key member, you’ll drive strategic audit initiatives that directly impact Walmart’s operational resilience and future growth.
What You’Ll Do
- Identify IT and security risk exposures; assess the effectiveness of controls across business-critical technology areas.
- Recommend business and technology strategies and process improvements by evaluating control deficiencies and severity.
- Drive audit efficiencies, leveraging automation and integration opportunities.
- Manage and execute IT audits—overseeing planning, testing, findings, and reporting within defined scope and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance to staff, review test plans, challenge findings, and ensure high-quality audit deliverables.
What You’Ll Bring
- Demonstrated expertise in IT audit methodologies, industry standards, and risk assessment.
- Experience overseeing IT controls for complex technology platforms, data privacy, and application development.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to identify root causes and recommend practical, strategic solutions.
- Proficiency in developing and executing audit plans, mentoring teams, and managing multiple priorities.
- Commitment to ethics, compliance, and continuous improvement in a rapidly changing environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
