The Role

Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from 35 dairy farms in the south-east Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year!

The Manufacturing Team Leader position involves managing a skilled and high-performance team of 10 operators. The focus is on achieving targets related to quality, safety, cost, and environmental impact. This role is for the afternoon shift, currently working from 2 PM to midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop team members to achieve goals and build a self-driven, empowered culture.
• Address issues with thoughtful problem-solving and a focus on positive outcomes.
• Identify and act on opportunities to enhance processes and performance.
• Uphold food safety, environmental, and manufacturing compliance with care and consistency.
• Promote best practices through a continuous improvement mindset.

About You

• Background in manufacturing or a related field (formal qualifications welcome but not essential)
• Proven experience leading teams and achieving production goals in FMCG environments
• Strong understanding of process improvement and problem-solving techniques
• Commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness
• Clear, supportive communicator who helps others grow and succeed
