The Position

The Opportunity

The Medical Enabler is an enthusiast about how we can make an impact on healthcare in general and the healthcare in Hungary. In this position you are part of our so called Medical Value Center and you are collaborating with dedicated professionals contributing to squad value with disease area expertise, understand Roche & competitor data. You are empowered to be differentiated by your proximity to the customer and to act on customer needs.

• Providing balanced, evidence-based and up-to-date information about Roche medicinal products and services in response to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, patients and members of the public via  Medical Information inquiries
• Handling and forwarding arising Adverse Events, Special Situations and/or Product Complaints received via MI channels to the relevant team  and coordinating the controlling activities of medical communication of the  scientific organizational unit (Medical Value Center), directing medical content, supporting communication activities concerning medicines
• Contributing to squad value with disease area expertise, understanding and training Roche and competitor data  and acting as a trusted partner and being differentiated by his/her closeness to the customer and by  acting on customer needs based on solid consulting/advisory approach 
• Focusing on sensing the environment in one or more therapeutic area(s),  gathering and sharing a holistic understanding of local healthcare ecosystem  and clinical practice, uncovering evidence gaps and helping to strategically address them
• Co-creating solutions with customers, translating our innovation to clinical  practice, bringing our internal capabilities and solutions to the healthcare  ecosystem
• Organizing Advisory Board and Consultancy with HCPs and actively participating in the global medical network of Roche and beyond and balancing field and office based activities, disseminating off-label scientific information through visiting HCPs in the country and support DA strategy 
• Supporting the squad members to define and communicate Medical Value to relevant stakeholders, decision makers and actively participating in cross-functional, cross-divisional projects that generate value for customers in Hungary and share expertise to further  develop the impact of Roche Network 

Who You Are

• Medical Degree or equivalent (PhD/PharmD with exceptional therapy area experience may be considered) with experience in the world of rare diseases (advantage)
• Ability to interpret medical studies and translate its messages to daily practice and ability to work independently, and an outcome/result-orientation with a strategic and pragmatic mindset
• Growth and agile mindset, can-do attitude, proactive approach, openness for new approaches and courage for experimenting and taking reasonable risks in the VUCA world
• Effective interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to build, join and foster local/international networks.
• Good command of Hungarian and English language to join into international projects and initiatives is a must
