The Position

We are looking for a P&C Business Partner & Country Connector supporting Pharma in Uruguay & Paraguay. The Uruguay/Paraguay affiliate is home to a total of 158 collaborators total (Pharma, Diagnostics, and 2 global Hubs for PTS and PTR).

Your Opportunity

• You are accountable as a trusted strategic partner and coach for fostering VACC leadership and a high performance organization, advancing organizational design and effectiveness, for building a diverse and inclusive work culture and securing future talent and capabilities. 
• You form trusted relationships with the Enabling Team members and you help to set direction, shape business strategy and enable action balancing the short and the long term Pharma Priorities. 
• Challenge, influence and coach leaders and other P&C colleagues to drive positive impact and operate as a high performing team and organization.
• You are a strategic partner, operating at eye level with the leader to shape the future together.
• You translate key business priorities into an impactful people strategy realized by the right short term outcomes.
• Be both, a business leader and a leader of the P&C function; holding self and others accountable to drive business results and impactful delivery of outcomes.
• Understand the business and the P&C operating model, connecting P&C expertise and solutions with the business needs and sharing business insights and trends within P&C.
• Leverage the P&C model, so that work is done across the system and not in isolation and you create a strong One P&C team by role modeling excellence in people leadership.  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our P&C model, flagging gaps to the appropriate chapters constructively and with good intent. 
• Navigate complexity, creating clarity and providing direction.  Role model and foster VACC leadership and create the conditions for a high performing organization.  
• You hold the enterprise perspective and lead at both on the regional and enterprise stage acting as One Roche, ensuring to work in a consistent and aligned manner with Diagnostics and the global network.

Who You Are

• Excellent business acumen and a strong focus on outcomes  
• Strong ability and experience in effectively diagnosing P&C needs based on the business needs   
• Role model VACC leadership and high performance, with proven ability to lead with a creative mindset and to act as a coach and mentor for other leaders and colleagues
• Demonstrating strong collaboration ability, co-creation and  sharing across the system including the ability to leverage digital tools
• Enterprise mindset and system thinking, proven ability to work effectively across multiple business areas, teams and leadership areas
• Someone who can thrive in volatility, prioritize to focus on critical opportunities and challenges and distill critical from the noise.  Excellent situational assessment and objective evaluation skills, with an ability to  comprehend and translate complex topics into manageable pieces
• Ability to influence senior leaders with courageous authenticity and partnering on eye level
• Ability to navigate the P&C system, leverage different Chapters for business impact and create networks to deliver on business and P&C strategies 
• Ability to translate the global P&C concepts and practices
• Fluency in English and Spanish
