Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; El Segundo, CA; Mesa, AZ; Kent, WA; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; Seal Beach, CA; Berkeley, MO; or Tukwila, WA.


The selected candidate will support the Infrastructure Technology and Operations (IT&O) organization, which is responsible for providing infrastructure and digital workplace solutions, focused on supporting communication and business requirements that are aligned to achieving Boeing’s efficient business outcomes.

This includes technologies, products, and services for networking, cloud and high-performance computing, data storage and databases, specialized and complex hosting, and data center and service management. It also covers disaster recovery, factory automation, mobile and voice services, help desk and Information Technology (IT) site operations, and conference and collaboration to support the Digital Enterprise and Data Analytics.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the integration of strategic plans for various functions
  • Develop and execute integrated project plans consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with strategy customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Ensure that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrate project data for decision makers
  • Transform technical concepts into clear, actionable insights in Microsoft PowerPoint or Word that resonate with an executive audience
  • Integrate IT product and portfolio management
  • Coordinate Vendor Management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project plans and schedules
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnerships with all levels of employees, including executives
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading the planning and execution of programs and projects
  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management
  • 3+ years of experience with Information Technology (IT) products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree of higher
  • 5+ years of experience in collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • 5+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
  • Experience transforming technical concepts into clear, actionable insights in Microsoft PowerPoint or Word
  • Experience organizing and executing workshops, meetings, team projects, team commitments, and production readiness assessments
  • Experience balancing multiple project priorities and statements of work
  • Experience being proactive, motivated, and initiating high-level tasks or projects independently with limited external direction or encouragement
  • Experience taking initiative, working autonomously, and contributing positively to a team's objectives
  • Experience working within a group, valuing collaboration, communication, and cooperation

Summary pay range: Mid-Level $98,600 - $142,600

Summary pay range: Senior $117,300 - $170,200
