Ahoy! The experienced Harvest software team is looking for a new team mate! Come to work with us in Trimble Forestry, an international company and leading supplier of forest software technology.
We are looking for an enthusiastic software developer to join our Harvest team in Finland.
WoodForce (CFHarvest) is a software service specialized in the planning and control of harvesting, forest management and forest improvement and is part of Trimble Forestry's CONNECTED FOREST™ product family. Our team develops and maintains SaaS service, which is widely used in Finland and growing fast internationally. What You Will Do
You can participate in all software development tasks from design to implementation and deployments. You get to develop new features to our existing software as well as fix bugs. Software developers in our team are mainly full stack developers, but we are looking for a person who can strengthen our frontend development capabilities. You will implement new user interfaces and ensure flawless end user experiences in web and mobile applications.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
We assume you know how to develop web applications, how to technically design and implement easy-to-maintain software and you have skills to read and understand large code bases. Working with this feature-rich SaaS service which has many integrations, web and mobile applications and wide supported use cases is hard but rewarding. You love to solve problems? And say yes to use AI powered development tools? This is your place!
We expect you to have excellent problem solving skills and be a good team player. In this role you need fluent English language skills and Finnish language skills are a big plus. Previous experience of the forestry industry is not required, you can learn that in the job.
- Competence and work experience in web application development +5 years
- Angular/AngularJS (TypeScript) or other JavaScript framework skills
- Excellent frontend development skills
- Backend development skills with Java Spring or C#
What Skills & Experience we appreciate but are not mandatory
- Cloud development or maintenance experience (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Gemini)
- Experience of XML parsing or StanForD data transfer standard
- Map components or libraries such as Leaflet, OpenLayers
- Understanding of spatial concepts and coordinate systems, including practical experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Map projections (e.g., WGS84, ETRS89), Spatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, GML, Shapefile), GPS data
Strong Sql Skills
- Proficiency in mobile development (iOS, Android)
Experience With Node.Js
We also appreciate it if you have a university degree in the field.

You can work either at our new office in Espoo (only 5 minutes walk from Leppävaara train station) or in Jyväskylä, Mikkeli or Kouvola. We have flexible working hours and a hybrid working model. We can also consider full remote working options if you live outside of our office locations.
