We are looking for a talented and driven Sales Engineer who is eager to grow and contribute to our growth in the field of Applanix Airborne Portfolio (including UAV). This position offers you a lot of learning opportunities in different formats, e.g. via training, mentoring, learning from more senior colleagues, and learning by doing.
What You Will Do
You will be trained and mentored by the existing Senior Sales Manager in Europe who will aid in business development. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales and the Senior Executive Sales Manager to establish and recommend the most realistic sales goals for the company in the region defined.
Your Tasks Will Include:
- Coordinating, managing and executing sales activities and strategies in your defined segment area
- Executing both direct and indirect sales efforts through reseller channels in order to meet or exceed the goals defined by the annual Sales Forecast
- Hunting new sales opportunities but also managing existing customers
- Participating in the development of the Applanix Airborne market segment sales plans
- Negotiating with customers
- Establishing programs and seminars to educate existing reseller channels
- Participating in tradeshows and conferences
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Some years of experience in b-to-b sales, preferably in the Geospatial Industry with a concentration on hardware and software sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration and networking skills
- Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to changes
- Driven, pro-active and organized personality
- Ability to travel extensively (around 40%) mainly in Europe but also internationally.
